Organic Basil Italiano Classico:
Sow directly outdoors in late spring after temperatures stay above 50 °F and the soil has warmed or start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last spring frost. Sow in pots filled with seed starting mix. Grow in a sunny window and keep moist.
A week before planting outdoors, harden off plants by placing them outside in a shady spot for 8-10 hours a day, increasing the amount of sun they receive each day.
Plant in rich, well-drained soil. Pinch back stems and flower stalks to promote branching. Water regularly.
Fertilize every 4 weeks. Pick leaves anytime or harvest entire plant flowers begin to open.

Organic Dill:
Sow directly outdoors in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked. Plant in full sun and well-drained soil. Sow 2-3 seeds every 12 inches. Press seed into the soil, do not cover, light helps germination. When seedlings have 4-6 leaves, thin to their final spacing. Keep soil evenly moist.
Fertilize every 4 weeks with an all-purpose vegetable fertilizer. Make successive plantings every 2 weeks through the spring to extend the harvest. Pick leaves any time after plants are 12 inches tall. Harvest seeds when the flower heads turn brown. Hang stalks upside down in a paper bag to collect seeds.

Organic Parsley Gigante d’Italia:
Soak seeds in water for 24 hours before planting. Sow directly outdoors in early spring 2-4 weeks before the last spring frost or start indoors 8 weeks before the last spring frost. Grow in a sunny window and keep moist. A week before planting outdoors, harden off plants by placing them outside in a shady spot for 8-10 hours a day. Increase the amount of sun they receive each day. Plant outdoors after danger of frost, in full sun to light shade and rich, well-drained soil.
Water regularly. Fertilize every month. Harvest outer leaves allowing inner leaves to grow.

Organic Rosemary Oficinalis:
Sow directly outdoors in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked or start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last spring frost. Sow in pots filled with seed starting mix. Place in a cool spot. After germination grow in a sunny window and keep moist. A week before planting outdoors, harden off plants by placing them outside in the shade for 8-10 hours a day. Increase the amount of sun they receive each day. Plant
in rich, well-drained soil. Pinch back stems to promote branching.
Water regularly. Fertilize monthly. Begin cutting stems and leaves to use fresh or to dry when plants are 6"" tall.

Organic Thyme-English Winter:
Sow directly outdoors in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked or start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last spring frost. Sow in peat pots filled with seed starting mix and barely cover. Place in a
cool spot. After germination, grow in a sunny window and keep moist. A week before planting outdoors, harden off plants by placing them outside in a shady spot for 8-10 hours a day. Increase the amount of sun they receive each day. Plant in rich, sandy well drained soil. Water when dry. Fertilize monthly. Harvest leaves and stems just before the flowers open after plants are 4 inches tall.

Organic Sage Broad-Leaved:
Sow directly outdoors in early spring, as soon as the soil can be worked or start indoors 6-8 weeks
before the last spring frost. Sow in pots filled with seed starting mix. Grow in a sunny window and keep moist. A week before planting outdoors, harden off plants by placing them outside in a shady spot for 8-10 hours a day. Increase the amount of sun they receive each day until they are in full sun. Plant in rich, well-drained soil. Pinch back stems to promote branching. Water regularly. Begin picking leaves when Plants are 12"" tall. To dry, pick before flowers open. Hang in a cool, dark place.

Organic Chives Medium Leaf:

Sow directly outdoors in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked. Plant in full sun to partial shade, in rich, well-drained soil. Sow every 6"". Keep moist. After seedlings emerge, thin to final spacing. Sow every 2-3 weeks until mid-summer for a continuous crop. Fertilize monthly. Pick leaves as desired or harvest entire plant before flowers appear. In mild climates, sow again in early fall. For coriander seed,
allow plants to flower and set seed. Harvest seeds as they turn beige. In winter, grow indoors in pots filled with sterile potting soil. Place in a sunny window.
