Cactus:
Dissolve growing medium pellet in 3/4 cup of water, fluff with fork, and place into basin. Sow cactus seeds by gently pressing them into the surface of the growing medium and lightly cover with a thin layer of growing medium. Cover basin with plastic wrap or enclose in resealable plastic bag. Place in a warm, bright location and keep growing medium moist but not overwatered; use a spray bottle to mist as necessary. Remove plastic once seeds germinate (1-3 months). Water by misting when the top 1/2" of soil becomes dry. Once seedlings develop tiny spines, begin watering with balanced plant fertilizer mixed at half-strength (feed only a few times per growing season). Cacti grow very slowly and will not need transplanting for 3-5 years.

Polka Dot Plant:
Dissolve growing medium pellet in 3/4 cup of water, fluff with fork, and place into basin. Sow seeds directly onto the surface of the growing medium, gently press in, and do not cover - polka dot plant seeds need light to germinate. Place in a warm, bright location with ample air circulation; keep growing medium moist but not overwatered. Polka dot plant seeds will germinate in 7-14 days. Once seedlings develop their second set of leaves, begin watering with plant fertilizer mixed at half-strength. This seed packet will produce a colorful mix of white, pink, and red polka dot plants.

Creeping Thyme:
Dissolve growing medium pellet in 3/4 cup of water, fluff with fork, and place into basin. Sow creeping thyme seeds 1/8” deep and lightly cover with growing medium. Place in a warm, bright location with ample air circulation; keep growing medium moist but not overwatered. Creeping thyme seeds will germinate in 14-21 days. Once seedlings develop their second set of leaves, begin watering with plant fertilizer mixed at half-strength.
