Dissolve growing medium pellet in 1 tablespoon of water, fluff with fork, and place into pot. Use Sowing Info table (below) to determine how deep to plant your seeds. Sow seeds and lightly cover with growing medium. Place in a warm, bright location with ample air circulation; keep growing medium moist but not overwatered. Once seedlings develop their second set of leaves, begin watering with plant fertilizer mixed at half-strength. Transplant seedlings to garden or larger pot once they reach 2-3" tall.

Nice little kit

Great little garden starter kit for kids or adults. It comes with everything you need to start seeds for 4 different plants - daisy, lavender, sunflower and mini roses. Comes with instructions for set up and care until you can transplant them to your garden outside or a larger container inside. This would be a great project to do with kids to help nurture a desire to learn about plants and maybe start their own garden of flowers, vegetables or both. Also great for "black thumbs" like myself to learn better plant husbandry. This would make a cute gift for someone who loves to garden.

I think these are adorable. I am going to give a few as a gift to people when I need them, because I think they are creative and little different for gifts. They are pretty small, they will most likely only grow one plant in each. I've never seen something like these with how tiny they are, but I think that adds to the cuteness. There are four different types of plants. I think the way the come packaged, it would be pretty hard to break in transit. I would recommend these!
