Sunflower:
In a separate bowl, dissolve growing medium pellet in 5 tablespoons of water and fluff with fork. Divide growing medium evenly among the 6 cups. Sow sunflower seeds 1/4" deep and lightly cover with growing medium. Place in a warm, bright location with ample air circulation; use a spray bottle to keep growing medium moist but not overwatered. Sunflower seeds will germinate in 7-14 days. Once seedlings develop their second set of leaves, begin watering with balanced plant fertilizer mixed at half-strength. When seedlings reach 2-3" tall, transplant to larger pot or into the garden.

Daisy:
In a separate bowl, dissolve growing medium pellet in 5 tablespoons of water and fluff with fork. Divide growing medium evenly among the 6 cups. Sow daisy seeds 1/8" deep and lightly cover with growing medium. Place in a warm, bright location with ample air circulation; use a spray bottle to keep growing medium moist but not overwatered. Daisy seeds will germinate in 7-21 days. Once seedlings develop their second set of leaves, begin watering with balanced plant fertilizer mixed at half-strength. When seedlings reach 2-3" tall, transplant to larger pot or into the garden.
