Organic Grilling Herbs Windowsill Grow Kit | Rosemary, Sage, & Thyme

In a separate bowl, dissolve growing medium in 2¼ cups of warm water, fluff with fork, and place into pot. Sow rosemary seeds onto surface of growing medium, gently press in, and do not cover - rosemary seeds need light to germinate. Sow sage and thyme seeds 1/8" deep and lightly cover with growing medium. Tip: sow each variety in a separate section. Place in a warm, bright location with ample air circulation; keep growing medium moist but not overwatered. Sprouting time: rosemary: 14-30 days, sage: 14-21 days, thyme: 14-21 days. After seedlings develop their second set of leaves, water with balanced plant fertilizer mixed at half-strength once a month.

Tip: Rosemary seeds germinate best in warmer temperatures between 70° and 75°F.

To add drainage and keep roots happy, simply drill a small hole in the bottom of your windowsill planter.
