Position Overview
We are seeking an E-Commerce Marketing Manager to lead our online growth strategy across Amazon, DTC platforms, and other e-commerce channels. This role is essential to driving revenue growth by combining technical e-commerce expertise with a passion for performance marketing, data-driven decision-making, and innovative merchandising.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on leader with experience in creating and optimizing content, managing performance-driven ad campaigns, planning site promotions, and leveraging data to enhance customer engagement and increase sales.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Strategy Development
● Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce marketing strategy to drive revenue growth across Amazon and DTC channels.
● Plan and oversee merchandising strategies, ensuring that product presentation and promotion align with brand objectives and maximize conversion rates.
● Collaborate with internal teams to execute promotional calendars, ensuring seasonal and thematic relevance.
Performance Marketing & Ad Spend Management
● Lead performance marketing efforts, including paid search, paid social, affiliate marketing, and email campaigns.
● Optimize advertising budgets to achieve customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth goals.
● Create and manage promotional plans and ad campaigns on Amazon, Walmart.com, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms.
● Conduct keyword analysis, set bids, and manage sponsored ads to maximize ROI and improve ROAS.
Site Merchandising & Promotion Planning
● Oversee the creation and management of site merchandising strategies to highlight key products and promotions.
● Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure promotional efforts are aligned with marketing campaigns and inventory availability.
● Monitor and adjust site merchandising based on performance data and consumer behavior trends to optimize conversion rates.
Customer Lifecycle Management
● Design and implement customer lifecycle strategies to improve retention, increase LTV, and foster loyalty.
● Partner with creative and technology teams to enhance the customer journey and user experience across platforms.
Data Analysis & Reporting
● Use analytics tools to monitor campaign and merchandising performance, identify insights, and adjust strategies for optimal ROI.
● Prepare and present reports to stakeholders, demonstrating the impact of e-commerce marketing and promotional efforts.
Collaboration & Agency Management
● Serve as the primary liaison to agency partners, ensuring alignment with company goals and delivering results.
● Collaborate cross-functionally with product, technology, and operations teams to execute e-commerce projects effectively.
Team Leadership
● Manage, mentor, and grow a team of marketing professionals to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
● 8+ years of experience in e-commerce marketing, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
● Expertise in Amazon Marketplace and DTC e-commerce, including tools like Amazon Seller Central and Shopify.
● Strong knowledge of performance marketing channels, including Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads, and email platforms.
● Proven experience with site merchandising, promotional planning, and driving conversion through product presentation strategies.
● Proficiency in analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker, or Tableau) for performance tracking and decision-making.
● Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present to stakeholders at all levels.
