I love that there are four different bonsai varieties included, so every kit feels a little different.Inside each pot you get a seed packet and a little soil/seed‑starting medium. You just place the quarter‑sized soil piece into a container, add a bit of water, mix it with a fork, and it expands into fluffy soil. Then fill the pot, place the seeds, cover lightly, and let sun and water do the rest. The instructions recommend soaking the seeds for 24 hours before planting to help with germination, and it can take a few weeks before you see growth.I haven’t seen sprouts yet, but the set itself is adorable and the pots are genuinely gorgeous. Just a heads‑up: there are no drainage holes, so be careful not to overwater. And as a former bonsai owner - don’t repot too quickly, and remember these are trees, so they really do prefer sun and outdoor conditions when possible. Bonsai are not typically easy to grow and care for, so I’m not too sure what to expect from these if and when they do sprout, but I’m hopeful!Overall, such a cute and thoughtful little set.

I was really disappointed with this bonsai seed kit. I followed the clearly written planting instructions carefully, used the same grow lights that have worked well for my other plants, and watered exactly as directed-but none of the seeds ever germinated or sprouted.What’s especially frustrating is that I’ve had success with other seed kits from this same seller, so I expected similar results here. Unfortunately, this particular kit just didn’t perform at all. It may have been a bad batch of seeds, but either way, it didn’t work for me.I also want to mention that the included pots are extremely small. It honestly made me question how the bonsai trees would have thrived in them even if the seeds had sprouted.On the plus side, there is a good variety of seeds in this kit.

I've only just planted by first set out of the 4, so results remain to be seen, though I will periodically update as they begin to grow and when they are evolving and full grown. I have high hopes though, as everything about this product seems to be 5 stars from what I can tell. For starters, everything included is of great quality. The mini flower pots are very well made, durable, thick, strong, and beautiful! I really appreciate the diversity offered here, with 4 different types of bonsai trees included in this 1 purchase - ideal if you are looking for variety as well. I look forward to seeing how each tree comes out! I love that this is a complete kit, ideal for beginners like me and pros alike! Everything you need is included to get you up and running, you will only need to purchase a small amount of fertilizer spray, a month after planting, as it is recommended to spritz it once per month with a diluted spray: half water, half fertilizer. Each planter comes complete with growing medium (the soil), and seeds. Per the directions to soak the seeds for 24 hours prior to planting to improve germination, I simply added water to the seed pack and let it sit upright on a countertop space for that duration. The soil is a tablet that will surprise beginners like me. Once warm water is poured over it, it begins to expand and become a full mini pot of soil for your seeds and soon to be tree! it was fun to watch this. I didn't follow the instructions to do this in a separate bowl and then transfer, though I wished I had because it was hard to add the seeds and not make a mess once the soil was full grown and wet. I did manage to get it done but will likely use a separate bowl for my next one. Directions from start to finish, and then maintenance, are located on the packaging of each planter pot, very easy and simple to follow! It tells you when to expect results and how to keep your plant happy. healthy, growing, and thriving! I can't wait to see the results, as i am quite confident I will be happy with the outcome. The packaging also states they stand by their product, and it's quality/efficacy. Overall, I am really happy with this set and look forward to sharing the results with you all over the next 2 to 6 weeks and beyond. From what I can tell this is a great product!
