Dissolve growing medium pellets in 2¼ cups of water, fluff with fork, and place into pot. Sow both seed varieties directly onto the surface of the growing medium, gently press in, and do not cover - chamomile and lavender seeds need light to germinate. Tip: sow each variety in a separate section. Place in a warm, bright location with ample air circulation; keep growing medium moist but not overwatered. Days to germinate: chamomile: 14-21 days, lavender: 4-6 weeks. Once seedlings develop their second set of leaves, begin watering with balanced plant fertilizer mixed at half-strength.

No drainage? No problem. Easily add drainage by drilling a hole in the bottom-center of the pot.
