Tomato & Marigold:
In a separate bowl, dissolve growing medium in 2¼ cups of warm water, fluff with fork, and place into pot. Sow marigold and tomato seeds 1/4" deep and lightly cover with growing medium. Tip: sow each variety in a separate section. Place in a warm, bright location with ample air circulation; keep growing medium moist but not overwatered. Sprouting time: marigold: 7-14 days, tomato: 7-14 days. After seedlings develop their second set of leaves, water with balanced plant fertilizer mixed at half-strength once a month.

Sunflower:
In a separate bowl, dissolve growing medium in 2¼ cups warm water, fluff with fork, and place into pot. Sow sunflower seeds 1/2” deep and lightly cover with growing medium. Place in a warm, bright location with ample air circulation; keep growing medium moist but not overwatered. Sunflower seeds will sprout in 7-14 days. After seedlings develop their second set of leaves, water with balanced plant fertilizer mixed at half-strength once a month.

No drainage? No problem. Easily add drainage by drilling a hole in the bottom-center of the pot.

This is an amazingly fun and simple grow kit for the windowsill. I always tell people that they can't go wrong with Buzzy. I've used what feels like a couple dozen of their grow kits over the years, and every time it's the easiest, most effective germination process imaginable. I don't know how they do it, but I never have problems germinating anything when I use one of their kits and follow the instructions.This particular kit is has come adorable coconut husk planters that just look amazing on the windowsill. They're true to the size in the listing. And, sure enough, after following the instructions, I got sprouts very quickly. The Buzzy quality simply cannot be beat. I think even someone who regularly fails to grow anything would have success as long as they followed the instructions. So easy.Highly recommended.
