Pairs well with

What if the gift under the tree could become a tree of its own? This Christmas tree grow kit starts with spruce seeds and a festive painted metal pail, giving you a fun holiday project with a little story built right in.

Plant the seeds, add the included coconut husk growing medium, and watch your little spruce get its start. From the first tiny shoots to the beginnings of an evergreen, there’s something special about watching a Christmas tree grow from something so small.

Why you’ll love it:

A gift that grows – Give someone a holiday project they can start right away and keep watching as their little spruce grows

Giftable from the start – The decorative painted metal pail gives this grow kit a finished look that feels right at home under the tree or on a holiday gift table

A little evergreen to keep – Start a spruce indoors and enjoy having a growing reminder of the holiday season long after the decorations come down

A memorable Christmas gift for plant lovers, gardeners, families, kids, coworkers, or anyone who would enjoy growing something of their own.

Dissolve growing medium pellet in 3/4 cup of water, fluff with fork, and place into pot. Sow spruce seeds 1/4” deep and lightly cover with growing medium. Place in a warm, bright location with ample air circulation; keep growing medium moist but not overwatered. Spruce seeds will germinate in 1-2 months. Once seedlings develop their second set of needles, begin watering with plant fertilizer mixed at half-strength.

No drainage? No problem. Easily add drainage by drilling a hole in the bottom-center of the basin.

From the highest quality seeds to the easiest-to-follow instructions, our main goal is setting you up for success with your Buzzy grow kits. But, sometimes it’s not all flowers and sunshine. We get it.
