Festive Spruce & Mint Grow Kit | Decorative Tins (2 Pack)

Spruce:
Dissolve growing medium pellet in 3/4 cup of water, fluff with fork, and place into tin. Sow spruce seeds 1/4” deep and lightly cover with growing medium. Place in a warm, bright location with ample air circulation; keep growing medium moist but not overwatered. Spruce seeds will germinate in 1-2 months. Once seedlings develop their second set of needles, begin watering with plant fertilizer mixed at half-strength. Attach lid to bottom of tin for drainage tray.

Tip: Soak spruce seeds for 24 hours prior to planting to prepare them for sprouting and to improve germination.

Mint:
Dissolve growing medium pellet in 3/4 cup of water, fluff with fork, and place into tin. Sow seeds directly onto the surface of the growing medium, gently press in, and do not cover - mint needs light to germinate. Place in a warm, bright location with ample air circulation; keep growing medium moist but not overwatered. Mint seeds will germinate in 14-21 days. Once seedlings develop their second set of leaves, begin watering with plant fertilizer mixed at half-strength. Attach lid to bottom of tin for drainage tray.

Tip: Mint germination is enhanced when temperatures are kept warm, between 72° and 75°F.
