Dissolve growing medium pellets in 2¼ cups water, fluff with fork, and place into pot. Strawberry seeds are tiny - carefully open packet over white paper plate or paper towel. Sow seeds onto surface of growing medium, gently press in, and do not cover - strawberry seeds need light to germinate. Place in a warm, bright location with ample air circulation; keep growing medium moist but not overwatered. Strawberry seeds will germinate in 14-30 days. When the seedlings develop their second set of leaves, begin watering with balanced plant fertilizer mixed at half-strength.

Alternate Germination Tip: Prior to planting, place strawberry seeds on a damp paper towel, enclose in a resealable plastic bag, and place in bright location. Keep moist. Once seeds germinate, carefully transplant sprouts root-down into growing medium.
