Pairs well with

Give a little Warm Wishes with a plant that brings its own holiday color. This coleus grow kit pairs a festive holiday sweater-inspired pail with seeds that grow into colorful foliage with festive splashes of red and green, making a cheerful gift for anyone who loves growing something new.

Plant the seeds, add the included coconut husk growing medium, and watch your coleus get started. As the seedlings grow, their colorful foliage becomes the real reward, bringing a little extra color to your home long after the holiday season is over.

Why you’ll love it:

Festive foliage – Grow coleus with colorful leaves featuring splashes of red and green for a holiday-inspired houseplant

Warm Wishes, ready to give – The festive sweater-inspired pail gives this grow kit a cheerful holiday look with no extra wrapping needed

A gift that keeps growing – Start a new houseplant from seed and keep enjoying it well after the decorations come down

A thoughtful holiday gift, Secret Santa pick, or stocking stuffer for plant lovers, houseplant fans, coworkers, friends, or anyone who could use a little more color at home.

Dissolve growing medium pellets in 3/4 cup of water, fluff with fork, and place into pot. Sow seeds directly onto the surface of the growing medium, gently press in, and do not cover - coleus seeds need light to germinate. Place in a warm, bright location with ample air circulation; keep growing medium moist but not overwatered. Coleus seeds will germinate in 7-21 days. Once seedlings develop their second set of leaves, begin watering with balanced plant fertilizer mixed at half-strength.

No drainage? No problem. Easily add drainage by drilling a hole in the bottom-center of the basin.

From the highest quality seeds to the easiest-to-follow instructions, our main goal is setting you up for success with your Buzzy grow kits. But, sometimes it’s not all flowers and sunshine. We get it.
