Kitchen Herbs:
In a separate bowl, dissolve growing medium in 2¼ cups warm water, fluff with fork, and place into pot. Sow basil, cilantro, and chives seeds ¼” deep and lightly cover with growing medium. Tip: sow each variety in a separate section. Place in a warm, bright location with ample air circulation; keep growing medium moist but not overwatered. Sprouting time: basil: 7-14 days, cilantro: 14-21 days, chives: 7-14 days. After seedlings develop their second set of leaves, water with balanced plant fertilizer mixed at half-strength once a month.

Strawberry:
In a separate bowl, dissolve growing medium in 2¼ cups warm water, fluff with fork, and place into pot. Strawberry seeds are tiny - carefully open packet over white paper plate or paper towel. Sow seeds onto surface of growing medium, gently press in, and do not cover - strawberry seeds need light to germinate. Place in a warm, bright location with ample air circulation; keep growing medium moist but not overwatered. A spray bottle is recommended for watering, as strong water flow can wash away the tiny seeds. Strawberry seeds will sprout in 4-6 weeks, and might not happen simultaneously. After seedlings develop their second set of leaves, water with balanced plant fertilizer mixed at half-strength once a month.

No drainage? No problem. Easily add drainage by drilling a hole in the bottom-center of the pot.
