Dissolve growing medium pellets in 2¼ cups of water, fluff with fork, and place into pot. Sow tomato and cilantro seeds ¼” deep and lightly cover with growing medium. Tip: sow each variety in a separate section. Place in a warm, bright location with ample air circulation; keep growing medium moist but not overwatered. Days to germinate: tomato: 7-14 days, cilantro: 14-21 days. Once seedlings develop their second set of leaves, begin watering with balanced plant fertilizer mixed at half-strength.
